Student Books
I want students to see themselves as teachers. In my classroom, students write books that we share in our community, across the Commonwealth of Massachusetts, and across the country.
Over the years, my students have written books about laws, Supreme Court cases and diverse changemakers essential for understanding our country's fight for equity and justice and have shared these books with classrooms in almost all 50 U.S. States; they have written global cookbooks sharing family traditions and their migration stories; and they have written books sharing their personal histories and American identities.
